Create art based on what you see in one of Boyle County’s most scenic locations. Local artist David Farmer will be on hand to show his artwork based on scenery from Central Kentucky Wildlife Refuge and other locations. He will then guide you through creating your own work based on a beautiful natural landscape within the refuge. You will have the option to create your piece using watercolor paints, colored pencils, drawing pencils, or oil pastels..
Attendance is limited and advanced registration is required.

All art supplies and light snacks will be provided, but please bring your own lunch and water if you wish to do so. This event will take place approximately ¼ mile from the refuge parking lot. Shaded areas and restrooms will be available nearby. Please be aware that it may be hot and there will be ticks in the area, so clothing that covers as much skin as possible, a hat, sunscreen, and bug spray are recommended. In the event of rain, this event will be moved to June 14th.
