Friends of the Library Presents: D-Day in Normandy with Marshall and Betsy Wilt

In honor of Veterans Day on Nov. 11, the Friends of the Boyle County Public Library invite you to attend the program “D-Day in Normandy” presented by Marshall and Betsy Wilt. Marshall, a retired Centre College physics professor, and Betsy, a retired French teacher, have traveled extensively in France where Marshall has studied its military history and Betsy became an expert in French culture. The program will cover the historical background of the invasion on the beaches as well as some of the memorials and museums in the area.
