The Boyle County Public Library is the proud host of Bluegrass Landscapes, an exhibit by local artist Connie Estes Beale, for the month of October. In the words of the artist, “I enjoy painting the Kentucky fields, streams, and hills. Watching the light at certain times of day intrigues me and makes me want to capture it on canvas. The same goes for clouds as they endlessly fascinate me. I also am interested in buildings and how they reflect the character of the area, whether simple or grand.”
The exhibition will run from October 1st - 30th. We ask you to join us for a gallery opening reception on Thursday, October 2nd, from 6:30 to 7:30 PM. Light refreshments will be provided.
