The Artwork of Victor Vicere blends fantasy, whimsy, portraiture, and mystery with unique fluorescent and luminescent effects. Vicere creates his Artwork via a variety of different methods, ranging from painting, original sculpts in 3D modelling programs printed in resin and cast in bronze, cartooning, and many more. His favorite part of Art is its spirit, and layers of possibility. In his original painted Artworks these layers of different kinds of paint, additives, and varnishes allow themselves to be discovered in many different ways. Vicere’s work appears completely different in the light, in the dark, and under ultraviolet light, creating impossible and imaginary hues. Using the spectrographic glasses Vicere provides, much of his work takes on a holographic property, and when combined with ultraviolet light creates an almost magical effect..
Vicere has lived in the Danville, Kentucky area for over two decades with his wife, Jennifer and his sons, Thomas and Baxter. Originally born in Philadelphia and raised in Greensboro North Carolina, Vicere had his first gallery showing in 2023.
