Everyone is an artist! The “Kids Studio” series will give kids ages 6-10 a chance to learn about art forms and then use their creativity to make their own version!
This week, we’ll be creating puppets! A puppet is a figure—human, animal, or abstract in form—that a puppeteer moves, not a machine. We will make puppets from a variety of materials in 2D and 3D forms. You will also get to learn about famous examples of puppets through the years, and some local ones here in Kentucky.
Billy the therapy dog will be joining us to watch your puppet shows!
