Join the Boyle County Public Library at West T. Hill Community Theatre to learn more about theater in our community. Find out about the upcoming production of Shrek the Musical, take a tour of the theater and get a taste of what it's like to be on stage!
The library will be on hand to read the Shrek picture book and other stories and to provide a related craft. Then West T. Hill Managing Director Beth Marlowe will lead a series of theater activities that will allow attendees to be on a real stage. This is a great opportunity for anybody interested in acting, directing, set design, lighting, or costume design to see how you can get involved. You may even get to meet a familiar character or two from Shrek the Musical.
Be sure to visit our display of books that will be available for checkout. You will also be able to board our bookmobile on the way out for a selection of even more books that you can borrow.
