Celebrate all things autumn and agricultural by creating your very own ceramic pumpkin or jack-o-lantern!
Guest artist Joseph Eastham of ARJO Pottery will guide you through the process of hand-building your pumpkin from scratch using the pinch pot technique. Then, you’ll use additive and subtractive techniques to customize your special squash!
No prior experience with ceramics is required!
Clay and other supplies are limited, so be sure to arrive early to secure your seat at the crafting table.
After the program, your pumpkin or jack-o-lantern will be glazed and fired in a kiln. Once the process is complete, your ceramic piece will be available for pick-up in the Youth Department.
